Functional IMS

FIMS Course 2024

Our FIMS Course in Action

In 2024, we held a Functional IMS (FIMS) course, designed to train physiotherapists in the effective use of dry needling techniques for musculoskeletal pain management. The course focused on enhancing the understanding of functional movement patterns, identifying myofascial trigger points, and applying IMS techniques for conditions such as chronic pain, sports injuries, and nerve dysfunction. Participants gained hands-on experience with needle placement, improving their ability to treat pain and improve patient outcomes through functional assessment and neuromuscular rehabilitation strategies.
